Elizabeth Kerekes will have her charges erased as part of the settlement that saw her return the money and requires her to not commit a crime for the next couple of years, according to WLAD.

As for her boss, Colley resigned in early 2014 as finance manager amid the accusations of foul play and faces three counts of larceny, one count of conspiracy to commit larceny and two counts of forgery and is due back in court in September, according to WLAD.

First Selectman Steve Dunn is contemplating where the returned money should go though it is presumed to have come out of the student activity fund, WLAD reported. He has suggested the Boards of Selectmen, Finance and Education come together to decide the fate of the thousands, according to WLAD.
